I’m a cognitive linguist, PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, where I also taught for more than a decade. So, long before I ever coached a CEO, I was studying the machinery under every conversation you’ve ever had: how the brain turns sound into meaning, and meaning into trust. Or doesn’t. In seconds.
Then I watched that machinery decide careers.
E.g.: The most qualified person on paper, passed over for the one who simply sounded ready. Or brilliant executives losing the room in the first two minutes and never knowing why.
Across boardrooms, governments, and global companies, the diagnosis was always the same: it’s not a substance problem, it’s a translation problem.
That became my life’s work: I help leaders translate their genius, vision, and passion so every stakeholder gets it, gets on board, and rows in the same direction.
Two decades on, that work spans five continents. But the through-line never changes: I don’t change who leaders are. I make sure they’re finally heard the way they need and want to be.
